Peter Comber’s diverse range of experience in corporate finance, securities analysis, business valuations, and mergers and acquisitions, adds deep understanding to his skills as an investment manager.

His career spans more than 30 years, starting at Ernst & Young where he developed his expertise in taxation and corporate valuations. Subsequently, his experience at two national investment dealers, Scotia McLeod and Prudential Bache Securities, enabled him to develop his skills in corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions, as well as finance and investment banking.

Peter is also respected for his knowledge of resource industries, particularly in managing specialty oil and gas equity portfolios. He leads Barrantagh’s oil and gas investment team, and is an integral part of our overall investment research and analysis effort.
